Microsoft Outlook - Creating a designated voicemail folder
print icon

Starting on April 14, 2020, you'll be able to receive, listen, and delete all of the new and saved voicemails from your campus phone within Outlook. To better organize these messages, you can create a rule that moves all your incoming voicemail to a designated folder.

Creating a designated voicemail folder in Microsoft Outlook

  1. Open Outlook. Locate a voicemail message that you’ve received by searching your inbox for @ucvm.washjeff.edu.
  2. Right click on one of the messages returned from your search.
  3. In the drop-down menu that appears, select Rules and then Always Move Messages To: (yourusername)@ucvm.washjeff.edu.

  4. Select the folder that you’d like to hold your voicemail messages. Click New to create a new folder if needed.
  5. Click Next. All voicemail messages currently in your Inbox will be moved into the designated folder. Any future messages will appear in this folder.
