Sakai - Adding the Zoom Tool to a Sakai Course Site

Zoom videoconferencing software has been enabled within Sakai at Washington & Jefferson College. Faculty members wishing to use Zoom within Sakai will need to enable the Tool by completing the steps found below. For more information about Zoom, including information about acquiring a full Education license for instructional use, please visit this article.

  1. Log into Sakai.
  2. Navigate to the Course Site in which you wish to enable the Zoom Tool.
  3. Click on Site Info, on the left navigation bar within the Course Site.
  4. Click on Manage Tools, on the menu in the center of your window.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the list. Click on the drop-down caret next to External Tools. Click the empty checkbox next to Zoom Meetings, and then click Continue.
  6. Click Finish.
