ITS supports use of Microsoft Teams for videoconferencing. All W&J faculty, students, and staff can access Microsoft Teams using their College email address and password. ITS recommends use of the full desktop version of Teams, rather than the web-based version, when possible.
- The desktop version of Microsoft Teams can be downloaded and installed here.
Scheduling a Teams meeting
Teams videoconferencing meetings can be scheduled through Microsoft Teams or through Microsoft Outlook.
- Information about scheduling a Teams videoconferencing meeting through Teams can be found here.

Joining a Teams meeting without a Teams account
Some guests invited to meetings, including prospective students, guest speakers, and other community members without College email addresses, may not have Teams accounts. These guests may still be sent Teams meeting invitations and join these scheduled meetings.
- Instructions for joining a Teams meeting without a Teams account can be found here. ITS recommends sharing these instructions with external guests.
Other video conferencing tools
ITS has access to a limited number of Zoom full education licenses, which may be requested for short-term use in instances where Teams cannot meet a faculty or staff member's academic or professional needs.
- Faculty or staff who wish to request a Zoom license for short-term use are encouraged to open a request at support.washjeff.edu.
