How to Find MAC Addresses on Many Popular Devices

 

XBOX one 

1. Select Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > Wired MAC address 

 

XBOX 360

1. From the Xbox 360 main menu, go to My Xbox > System Settings > Network Settings > Configure Network

 

2. Select the Additional Settings tab and then select Alternate MAC Address. 

 

3. Select the wired MAC address will be listed at the bottom of this screen 

 

Playstation 4

1. On the Playstation 4 main menu, go to Settings > System > System Information. 

 

2. The wired MAC address will appear next to MAC Address (LAN Cable). 

 

Microsoft Surface

1. Swipe right to bring up the search bar

 

2. Type ‘cmd? into the search bar 

 

3. Type “ipconfig/all” then enter 4. Look for the “Wireless LAN adapter WiFi” and the physical address 

 

Macbook

1. Select Apple in the top right of the menu bar

 

2. Select System Preferences

 

3. Select Internet & Wireless > Network

 

4. Select Ethernet and Advanced 5. Select Hardware and locate wired MAC address 

 

Amazon Echo

1. Access the Amazon Alexa app to your phone or computer and sign in with your Amazon account. 

 

2. Connect to the wireless network transmitted by your Echo device.

 

3. The wireless MAC address for your Echo can be found at the bottom of the Echo Setup screen in the Alexa app. 

 

Amazon Fire Stick

1. Plug in your Amazon Fire TV stick into your TV

 

2. If this is the first time using this Fire TV device, the wireless MAC address will appear in the list  of wireless networks during setup at the far-right of the list.

 

If this Fire TV stick has been used in the past, navigate to Settings > System > About > Network and the wireless MAC address will be listed at this screen. 

 

Apple Smart TV

1. Connect your Apple TV to an Ethernet port.

 

2. On the Apple TV, navigate to Settings > General > Network.

Record the Wired MAC address listed. 

 

Roku

1. From the Roku home screen, select Settings > Player Info. 

 

2. The wired MAC address is listed next to Ethernet MAC address. 

 

a. The MAC address is also listed on the bottom or back of the Roku Player.

 

Google Home/Dot

1. Access the Google Home app on your phone.

 

2. You should see your Google Home listed. Select it then press Set Up.

 

3. Accept the prompt allowing your phone to connect to your Google Home. 

 

4. Answer the set up questions listed. 

 

5. Enter the location of your Google Home and select Continue 

 

6. The wireless MAC address will be listed at the bottom right corner of the screen. 

 

Kindle Fire 

1. Go to Settings > Wireless > WiFi > More Options > Advanced > MAC address
